Burning Saffron

Three notes. No wasted space. Burning Saffron opens with saffron and rose together — a pairing that is ancient in Middle Eastern perfumery and still impossible to improve upon. The saffron brings heat and leather; the rose brings depth and shadow. Labdanum arrives at the heart and adds a dark, balsamic richness that holds everything in tension. Then agarwood closes it — smoky, resinous, enduring. In Doha's heat, this one projects with serious authority. The most Gulf-native composition in the Fümé range, and perhaps the most essential.
